See how large a digital image can print at a chosen pixel density, in inches and centimeters.
PPI describes image pixels per printed inch. Printer DPI is a different device specification; print labs often use “DPI” informally when requesting file resolution.

This is a pixel-density check, not a guarantee of sharpness. Focus, compression, noise, sharpening, paper, and viewing distance also affect the result.
How the estimate works
Transparent math, practical judgment.
Printed size equals pixel dimensions divided by target pixels per inch. The calculator also converts inches to centimeters and reports total megapixels. It does not resample or upload your file.
Before you commit
01Ask the print lab for its preferred file settings and color profile.
02Inspect the image at 100% for focus, compression artifacts, and noise.
03Large wall art is usually viewed farther away, so it can tolerate a lower PPI than a handheld print.
