Tool 01 · Proportion
Wall art size planner
Choose a balanced width for one artwork or a multi-panel arrangement before you buy, print, or hang.
Use the furniture width when hanging above a sofa, bed, or console. For an empty wall, enter the portion you want the arrangement to anchor.
60–75% of the reference width
For one artwork
Working recommendation: start near 49 in, then tape that outline on the wall and view it from the room entrance.
How the estimate works
Transparent math, practical judgment.
The planner uses a 60–75% range of the reference width, then subtracts panel gaps and divides the remainder equally. This is a design starting point—not a structural or aesthetic guarantee.
Before you commit
01Measure the furniture itself, not the full wall, when the art belongs visually to that furniture.
02Use painter’s tape to test the suggested outline at full size.
03Check the composition from the doorway and the seat where you will see it most.
